#101 Buff Clay
 An all purpose stoneware clay with a wide firing range for throwing and modeling.  Buff color at low temperature and soft gray at cone 9.

#108 Red Clay w/Grog
A high fire clay with medium grog and sand for surface texture and minimal warping and cracking.  This clay is designed for sculpture, slab or coil building.

#112  Brown Clay
A plastic clay for wheel and modeling. The addition of granular manganese gives a speckled surface.  The ideal temperature for developing best color tone is cone 5.   Good results may be expected in reduction or oxidation firing.

#119 Stoneware Clay
Contains coarse silica sand.  Good for both salt and wood firings.   Natural earth colorants yield orange -brown at cone 4 reduction fire.

#153 Stoneware Clay

#181  White Stoneware
Very Smooth white stoneware body. Contains no fire clay

#201 Clay
Plastic, all-purpose clay with fine grog. Fires light gray in oxidation.

#205  Stoneware
Formulated for reduction firing. Muted brick red  at cone 4,  stone gray at cone 10. Contains fine grog.

#211 Hazelnut Brown Clay
A nice plastic clay for throwing and hand-building. At C/6 oxidation it's a warm brown color usually associated with reduction firing. Reacts well with glazes.

#213 Porcelain Clay
A white Body formulated for cone 6 firing, plastic, throw-able clay.

#225  Brown Clay
Same characteristics as #112,  but has no specks. Ideal for throwing and slab work.

#240 White Clay
A very smooth, plastic throwing body. This clay is made to be more firm than soft.

#240G White Clay w/ Grog
Same as 240 but contains fine grog.
Cone 6 Shrinkage 12.5% Absorption 1.5%

#257 English Porcelain (Cone 8-10)
A porcelain body with a parian like quality. It is white, tight and translucent when thin. Contains no ball clay.
Shrinkage: 13% at C/8, 15% at C/10.
Absorption: 1% at C/8, .65% at C/10.

#259 Stoneware Clay
Formulated to be similar to  the #153, but richer in color tones.

#266 Dark Brown Clay
Gives reduction-like dark brown color in electric kiln.  Smooth and plastic .   Good for all techniques

#306 Brown Firing Clay
Smooth throwing body.  Orange-brown in reduction,  muted  orange to cone 4 oxidation.  Gray at cone 10 oxidation.

#308 Brooklyn Red Clay
Red Stoneware body with sand and grog.  Oxidation firing yields a red at cone 4,  and deep sand at cone 8.

#365 Grolleg Porcelain
Same as #257 but formulated to fire at a lower temperature.

Standard’s most heavily grogged body,  formulated for sculpture colored at cone 6,  off white at cone 2.

#509 Ivory White Clay
Light firing clay for tile and hand-building. Can be thrown if potter prefers a toothy body. Contains sand.

Very plastic white porcelain. Good for throwing. Does not contain ball clay.

Smooth vitreous stoneware body. Contains no fire clay. Good for hand-building and throwing.

#630 White Stoneware Clay
Contains fire clay and mullite which enhances thermal properties.
Cone 6 Shrinkage 13.0% Absorption 1.5%

#710 Dark Brown Clay w/ Grog
Gives a reduction-like dark brown color in an electric kiln. Smooth and plastic. Contains manganese and a small amount of fine grog is added. It's good for all techniques. We recommend firing to cone 5.

#760 Speckled Clay
Similar working qualities as 112. Grayish tan color with very fine black specks. Contains manganese and fine grog.
