The Studio hosts a variety of shows and sales featuring the work of students, staff and friends of the studio, at our 118 Washington Avenue location.  These events are open to the public, and offer a wide array of innovative and creative pottery and jewelry work.  The shows include:

Teapot Show & Sale April 4-10

For this sale we ask professional and student potters to come up with their take on the traditional teapot or lamp. No limits, just creative minds working away!

Sidewalk Sale and Open House June 6 & 7

Come check out Portland Pottery's students , associates and teachers latest pots. This year the studio will be open with free classes, Raku firings and Demonstrations. Join us for a day of discover and creativity!!

Portland Pottery's Sale at the Maine Audubon October 3-6

Hosted by Portland Pottery and Metalsmithing Studio, this sale features some of the most talented clay and metal artists Maine has to offer. FREE on-going classes and demonstrations add to the fun. Donations raised during the event directly benefit the Maine Audubon Society.

17th Annual Holiday Sale December 12th - 14th

Giving hand-made items for the Holidays is always extra special. Join us for a wonderful selection of clay, metal and craft creations from local artists. A portion of the proceeds go to a local community charitable organization.
