Each Session we like to offer a "Class" with a Specific Theme. Many lessons will be taught during the session but if you have an interest in this topic, this is the class for you.

Monday, January 9th – 6-9pm
Pouring Vessels with Lori Watts

“Pour, Pour Me…”Explore a wide range of pouring vessels and the aspects that make them functional and decorative. From creamers to teapots; Lori will discuss different forms, spouts and handled vessels and what it takes for them to pour well.

Adult Clay Classes
All classes use cone 10 clay fired in the reduction kiln. Classes include instruction, two bags of clay, glazes, firings, and open studio time.
Classes meet one day a week.
Choose the day that works best for you:Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Mornings:10-1 or Evenings: 6-9

8 weeks, $245, 7 weeks, $225

BEGINNING CLAY
MON 6-9 • TUES 10-1 • 6-9 • THURS 10-1

An exciting, fun and relaxing class. Learn all about clay, wheel-throwing techniques, hand building, and the process of glazing and firing.

INTERMEDIATE CLAY WED 10-1 • THURS 6-9
Intermediate students will expand upon skills learned in the beginning class, creating larger, more individualized pieces and incorporating hand-building skills. Concentration will be on decorative surfaces using slips, stamps, stencils and more!

ADVANCED CLAY WED. 6-9 • Thurs. 6-9
Personal projects and goals will be emphasized as you work with an instructor on increasingly complex forms. Class includes individual instruction, weekly talks, demonstrations, and critiques of finished pieces. We will be using cone 10 clay and firing in the reduction kiln, although students may also choose to explore other clay bodies.

HANDBUILDING MON. 10-1 • MON. 6-9
The possibilities are endless when handbuilding. Students will pinch, coil, slab, extrude, carve and sculpt clay and explore surface decoration, texture and design. Your creations will surprise you!
